@MattwdXx make sure all of your component cables are sucurely plugged in and make sure when you tick the boxes all are selected apart from 1080p still select 1080i thats the best one u can use or mainly if your on an xbox, On the side of the component cable there is a switch and that swaps betwen good quality and horrible quality (in my view) so switch the switch to HDTV rather than TV and i hope it works.
iWent to Display settings > Component/DTerm I did that and then i changed over, Yet everything is completely different? Is it supose to be WORSE Quality? I haven’t recorded. i am annoying at the acutally game quality/picture Example: I Started up MW2 in HDMI, Colours are Crisb along with the Menu being fine > When i do the Component cable /DTerm The Colours change.. Some menu features such as Account management got a shadow behind them (Like Smudged) Along with ingame colours differnt

@MattyyyLomax i have same problem, when i press start there comes a small screen where reads something about activating and “Activate” and “Continue”, if i press Activate notníng happens and if i press Continue, convertion fails. :/
Hey Bro help ,me out when i swap it to determinal it comes up on my laptop screen but not on my tv ive been through all the sources nothing showing ive checked there all pluged in in the back and that a thousand times! its annoying me now 2 know im so close but yet so far lol!
It looks quite complicated. You got any site i can buy the hauppauge from? Im in thinking to buy it and finally start to record my epic gameplay xD. This helped alot, but i need the site.
my tv has Green,blue and red componet, but on that amazon link the picture shows green blue red white red, there is two holes after that but it just says ‘VGA PC audio in’ and ‘componet s-video audio in’ i tried with the PS3 scart cable but they felt a bit loose, plz help.

@Deafernoon Will work on Windows XP and above. Also I do not know a HDPVR website for Norway, I can only suggest you search online

mines wont work anymore. i change from my hdmi to my component. but it says there is no signal. all cables are correct. iv tried turning off the hdpvr
