I bought this product because its measurements were given clearly on the web page, and it fit my computer screen perfectly. I at first thought that the anti-glare would be a nice bonus, but now I’m not sure if I really need it; I don’t use my computer outside. The screen appears slightly grainier with the protector on — because of the anti-glare I think — but it’s not an issue at all; I can only tell when I look for it. My brother didn’t even notice that the screen had a protector on it until I told him a couple of days later.
One thing to note when applying this product: you should really take time to put it on. It’s very important that the screen is clean and free from dust. Also, I would recommend that you only remove the film covering the glue in small pieces when you’re sure that the underlying part of the screen is clear. I made the mistake of aligning the screen protector, and then hastily removing all of the film at once. It doesn’t take much dust under the screen to cause an air bubble, so I had to peel off the protector and use tape to get pieces of dust out (the protector leaves no residue, by the way). Since the protector was sticky, it would catch dust while I held it off the screen, and the process seemed to be much more difficult and irritating than it had to be. It took me an hour of peeling back, using tape to remove dust, and slowly smoothing the protector on with the help of a credit card before I removed almost all of the air bubbles (there are still two small, barely noticeable dust-caused air bubbles, but it’s good enough, and I was tired of it). All this because I rushed the process at first. So, take your time on the first application, and take advantage of the film covering the glue. Then, you can leave the protector on for the screen’s lifetime!
Another thing: my screen protector had a small dent in it when I took it out, but I ignored it and put it on anyway. I couldn’t smooth the air bubble under the dent, so now there’s one air bubble on the screen that I can’t get out even if I wanted to. You should make sure that your screen protector is free of dents and the like before putting it on — air bubbles come easy.
Air bubbles aren’t the end of the world, though. They appear kind of like small smudges on the screen when it’s on, so I usually don’t even notice them. The only time I really see them is when the screen is off and it’s black.
Good product. I rest easy now about touching my screen, and closing the laptop lid on the keyboard now. It probably isn’t necessary to have a screen protector, but I like the peace of mind.

I was looking for a notebook with an anti-glare screen from Toshiba or HP, but I couldn’t find it.
A few days ago, I’ve discovered this product in Amazon, and placed an order to buy one and try it.
I’ve just received this item (very fast delivery !). It’s like the other reviewer said: it does exactly what you think it should do.
It comes in a box because it’s very flexible, and the package contains a small wiping cloth and the anti-glare screen.
It’s a kind of complicated to install because you need to clean absolutely the notebook screen, removing EVERY piece of dust and ANY grease mark. Then you peel off a film protector from the anti-glare screen and place it carefully over the notebook screen. It can be peeled off many times, because it has no permanent glue: it’s a silicone compound. Better if you turn off every air conditioning or fan in the room: take your time to installing for excellent results.
I’ve installed over my Toshiba notebook, 14.1 in screen. If you wonder how it is, it’s similar to a Lenovo Thinkpad anti-glare screen. It blocks very well all the glare the screen natively produce (I dont’t know why they produce this kind of VERY glare screen!!!). Now, I can read at night with lights behind me, or even behind a sun-illuminated window during the day. I’m very happy with this purchase.

This does exactly what it is supposed to do. I can take my laptop outside and enjoy the weather while I continue with my work! It even works in direct sunlight.

other reviews were dead on. wonderful concept, but CANNOT get the dust out from beneath it, repositioning makes it worse, waste of money imo

Once you get this anti-glare screen onto your computer screen, it works all right. But getting it on correctly is the tricky part. You have to be really, really, super careful when opening the packaging in order not to bend the anti-glare screen, I wasn’t able to do that and the screen got bent and puckered and once installed those bends and puckers wouldn’t lie flat on my computer screen leaving unsightly and distracting bumps.
So, if you buy this product, please use utmost care in separating it from it’s packaging.
